Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport, Catherine King, presents a commemorative award to Haley Spector, the 50,000th recipient of a free Keys 2 Drive lesson.

Ms King was joined by Kingborough Mayor, Graham Bury, Federal Member for Franklin, Julie Collins, and Tasmanian Premier, Lara Giddings, to cut the ribbon officially opening the $50 million Kingston Bypass, delivering an important link in Tasmanias infrastructure network.

The Decade of Action for Road Safety resulted from a UN resolution which was co-sponsored by 100 countries including Australia.

Ms King was joined by <em>(from left) Mr Peter Chandler, Vice President Australian Automotive Industry (AAA) and President of the RACV; Mr Greg Goodman, Executive Advisor Club and Resorts RACV; Mr Ray Grigg, President of the AAA and President of the Royal Automobile Association of South Australia, and Confederation of Australian Motor Sport President, Mr Andrew Papadopoulos.</em>
