In keeping with the undertaking I gave to Lyne MP Rob Oakeshott in Parliament last week (15 February) and following NSW Roads Minister Duncan Gay's decision to release his response to the media before sending it to me as common courtesy would dictate, I am today releasing my original letter (attached).
Attached to that letter of 24 January 2012 is a draft program of works which confirms that it is possible to complete the duplication of the Pacific Highway by 2016, subject to a joint funding commitment from both the Federal and NSW governments.
